Pretty sure it's been a build up, but I believe Sync leaving was the last straw. She's basically against how we're brought here against our will and have no choice whether we want to stay or go, and she thinks killing an Arehtei or more will "wake up" whatever power is controlling it.

Even I can see that this is extreme and don't think there is such a power. But whether this works or not, she wants change and answers and believes that kind of action is needed to bring it about. What she plans beyond this—[A shrug.]
