[This comes some time (shortly) after their other conversation about future-talk. She uses a letter as it was sort of a last-minute thing and Velvet uses the messenger birds at the airship port to send a message.]
I'm going to be away from Verens for a while. Some group is off trying to fix Elios with hatred and I've decided to tag along to see it for myself. Not sure when I'll be back but I'll let you know when I am.

[He's not thrilled, this being so last minute and all. But he also knows that Velvet is particularly suited for something like that. Isn't that what Innominat had said, in that memory? He's not sure if this will get to her before she leaves as he quickly scribbles a reply out or not.]

[When Velvet steps outside of her minimalist apartment the next morning, it's to find Phi already outside her door. For the most part, she appears to be uninjured seeing as how most of her wounds had been healed by Usagi. The only wounds she does have are hidden beneath the bandages off her left arm. Even then, they're minor - small crescent shaped marks from her own fingernails. She does look frazzled, though. A look Phi might associate with a bad night.
Made even more obvious by how startled she appears to be to see him waiting outside her door. Obviously she's not at the top of her game just yet.

[With Eleanor currently crystallized, it's kind of the perfect time for this. She won't be able to complain about what's about to happen. It also means that Velvet has basically been living with Phi rather than in her own cheap apartment.]

Yeah, just a couple. And I don't think it's a good idea to go around advertising that we're looking for a bunch of individuals who are willing to look the other way when we do something unsavory to run our ship. Unless you want to get a wanted poster in this world.

We didn't exactly go around advertising for help out in the open. It just happened upon us most of the time. If we tell everyone that we're looking for unsavory sorts who want to join our pirate crew, we'll have a hoard of heroes trying to stop us all of the time.

I'll make sure Veigar doesn't kill everyone. And I'm not really worried about others finding out, I just don't intend to broadcast it over an open channel.

[She's expecting some resistance so it will likely get worse before it gets better. And that's something she'd like to avoid getting Eleanor involved in. Without Eizen here to reign Velvet back from certain things, there's a chance she'll do something that upsets the exorcist badly.]
